Arthur C. Mcwilliams

Arthur C. McWilliams Jr., 81 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct 26, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur C. McWilliams, Sr. and Florence (Haskins) McWilliams; and his brother, Robert McWilliams; Survived by his wife, Thelma. He is survived by his daughter, Mandi (Gregory) Loudon; and son, Arthur C. McWilliams, III. (fiancée April); grandchildren, Tyler, Makenna and Owen; sisters, Marilynn, his twin sister, Arlene, Claudia; brother, Paul; and many other family members.

He was born in Akron, raised in Cuyahoga Falls and then resided in Tallmadge. Art was a proud Air Force Veteran and loved his time in France and shared many stories with his kids. He loved the Goodyear Blimp and all things flying. He collected Budweiser Beer steins even though he has never drank a drop in our life. It was about the horses and structure of rules. Through the summer he was at most every fair and finished it out with a week of camping at Canfield which he has done for many years now. Thankfully he was able to do that this year too. He was known for his Beautiful Christmas light displays. He skipped Thanksgiving dinner (I took him food) because he was working on his display every year. He was proud of bleeding fingers from light bulb changing.

He is also survived by Keith and Chip, who helped him so much and graciously had him for many years. Also, to his neighbors, Dave and Sue who were always there to lend a hand to him.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, please take time when you interact with people. You may be the only person that they see all day.
