Arnie Bennett, 75, passed away at home on July 29, 2014 in Akron.
Born in Akron on January 20, 1939, Arnie was a lifetime area resident. He retired from Logan Metal Stamping in 1999 with 35 years of service. Arnie served his country as a member of the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Lois Bennett; children Betsy Bennett, Suzette Young, Arnie C. Bennett Jr., Brenda Holbert, Brook Bennett, Donnie Green, Linda Green, Mike Green, Cindy Foster, and James Green; 32 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 5-8 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 am.
