Wadsworth - Antonina Kulyk, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her home.
Antonina was born Spetember 25, 1926 to Dennis and Melania (Neberezhna) Hula in Wypowzow, Ukraine and came to the United States and the Akron area in 1951. She was a member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church. She was a past member of the church choir, BVM Sodality and Soyuz Ukrainok.
Antonina was preceded in death by her husband Pete in 2009; daughter-in-law Annette Kulyk and sisters Helen and Sonya. She is survived by her children Walter Kulyk, Peter (Helene) Kulyk and Valentina (Don) Jesionek; grandchildren Alexander Kulyk, Elizabeth (Tim) Izzo, Michael and Stephen Kulyk, Kristina (Jake) Abry and Nicholas Jesionek; great grandchildren Tyler and Dylan Izzo. The family is especially grateful to Ruth for her tender and loving care of Antonina.
The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 5 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron where a Parastas Service will be held at 4:30 pm. Funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:30 am at the funeral home and continue at 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1866 Brown St, Akron, OH 44301. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to Holy Ghost Church. (Anthony, AKRON)
