Anna V. "Ginny" Simon, 79 passed away Friday, November 3, 2017. She was born in Saltville, Virginia and was a member of St. George Orthodox Church and St. George Ladies Club. She enjoyed Ceramics and Painting. Ginny is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard; daughters, Cheryl Molnar and Cathy (Rick) Hager; sisters, Marie Reeves and Jacqueline (Harold) Cooper; and granddaughters, Sarah and Rachel Molnar and Amanda and Alaina Hager. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Rev. Fr. John Alassaf officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home where a Trisagion service will be held at 7 p.m. Donations may be made to the family or to the church.
