Anna "Annie" Pound

Anna (Annie) Pound, 62 of Cuyahoga Falls, died Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Western Reserve Hospital. Annie was born August 1, 1957 in Akron and was a graduate of Garfield High School. She most recently worked in housekeeping, taking care of the church, rectory and school at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, where she was also a parishioner. She shared a love of the Cleveland Indians with her husband Mark, and delighted in spoiling her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shawna Marie in 1980; father, Stanislaw Matczyszyn in 1991; mother, Ewgenija Matczyszyn in 2005; and sister, Stephanie Kostich in 2011 (Thomas).
Annie leaves behind her husband, Mark Pound; step-children, Jessica Tepus (Adam) and Justin Pound; grandchildren, Charles and Camden Tepus; brother, Myron (Debra) Matczyszyn; sisters, Alicia (Bill) Douglas and Linda Matczyszyn; along with her nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial for Annie will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, located at 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019.
