Anna Marie (Holley) Shall

February 13, 1926 — March 1, 2024

Anna Marie Shall, 98, passed away peacefully in North Canton, Ohio on Friday, March 1, 2024 and now is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as well as many friends and family members that passed before her. Anna Marie was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late Walter and Mary Holley on February 13, 1926. She graduated from Stow High School and attended classes at The Ohio State University. In 1948 she married the love of her life, the late Gerald Shall, and enjoyed 49 years of marriage to Garry. She lived in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio most of her life as the best wife and mother anyone could ever want. Anna Marie's faith was deep and unwavering and she was a lifetime member of Saint Johns Episcopal Church serving in Guilds at the church for many years. She enjoyed gardening and was very proud of her back yard gardens. She also enjoyed spending winters in Florida after Garry's retirement. She was a loving Mom and spouse and a proud Grandma to her grandchildren and loved to spend time with them. Christmas time was special to Anna Marie and she always hosted family parties and baked many kinds of delicious cookies given to family and friends. Anna Marie will be deeply missed by her children Greg (Kathie) Shall and Alan (Lisa) Shall; grandchildren Scott (Kara) Shall, Todd (Heather) Shall, Andrew (Michelle) Shall, Matthew Shall and Nathaniel (Naho) Shall, step grandchild Tibet Love, brother John Holley, several nieces and nephews, in addition to 10 great grandchildren. Two of her nieces were like the daughters she never had, Diana Harley and Sarah Gump who visited her frequently brought cookies and bread, and for years wrote a letter to her every week without fail. She was preceded in death by brothers Bill (Helen) Holley and Chick (Jerry) Holley. A private service for family members will be held on Friday, March 8th. Burial will take place in The Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Johns Episcopal Church in 2220 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.
