Ann M. Bernat (Kreptowski)
Ann M. Bernat, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 1, 2016.
Ann was born July 19, 1925 to Joseph and Stella (Kowal) Kreptowski in Bellaire, Oh and had been an Akron resident most of her life. She was employed by First Federal Savings and Loan for over 40 years.
Ann was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a former member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church where she served as the Church Secretary and had been president of the Parish Council.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; brother Joseph Kreptowski; sister-in-law Alice Kreptowski; niece Julie DeMario Kreptowski and great nephew John Kreptowski III. She is survived by brother John Kreptowski; sister-in-law Margaret Kreptowski; nephews and nieces Joseph (Butch) Kreptowski, Jr., Thomas (Susan) Kreptowski, Donna (Steve) Testa, Alice (Robert) Ramian, Marianne (Rick) Rogers, Rosanne (Bob) Holliday, John (Chris) Kreptowski Jr. and Dr. Dianne Kreptowski; many great and great great nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the nurses in the Palliative Care Unit
at Akron City Hospital.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. Akron OH 44301, where the family will receive friends from 10 am until time of services. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Church. (Anthony, AKRON, 330-724-1281, anthonyfh.com)
