Andrew Chounramany

Andrew Chounramany, 34, passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2021.

Andrew was born in Akron, OH on October 22, 1986 to Sengchanh Chounramany and Susan K. Walters (Wright).

Andrew was free-spirited, creative, and artistic. He had a big heart and a comical sense of humor. He enjoyed music, spending time with family and friends, and was a passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. He attended Garfield High School with the Class of 2005 and often worked in the restaurant industry.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father Sengchanh Chounramany and mother Susan K. Walters (Wright). He is survived by his son DaVonte Andrew Chounramany, seven siblings; Noy (Dao), Mickey (Annie), Tony, Duke (Taksana), Moniquie, Domonique, and Jasmin; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A funeral and memorial service will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St., Akron, Ohio 44301. The family will gather for calling hours from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and will receive friends for a memorial and eulogy service at 12:00 PM, followed by final respects and goodbyes. In accordance to the wishes of Andrew, he will be cremated and laid to rest privately by his family.
