Alexander "Alex" Dean Simpson, beloved son of Helen and Rich Simpson, left us suddenly on the evening of January 24th, 2025. Alex proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of Stow American Legion Post 175. Alex's heart in service was demonstrated in his time as a Sheriff's Deputy, as well as with his friends and family. Alex was an avid and skilled pool player, and helped his team to the APA World Championships in 2024. Alex is survived by both parents, his brothers Leo Simpson and Mot (Kathy) Buchanan. Alex's chosen family also includes Ann, Dave, Wendy, and Jillian Wood; Renee, Ken, Andrew and Paul Knepp; Uncle Jason Traczyk, cousin Alisha Traczyk, and many other relatives.

Calling hours and a brief service will take place on Sunday, February 2nd at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home in Stow, Ohio from 2 to 6 pm. A dinner gathering will be held afterwards. The location will be announced at the end of the service.
