Albert Carl Moser

November 11, 1930 — January 27, 2016

Albert C. Moser, Jr., 85, passed away January 27, 2016 with his daughter by his side at Akron City Hospital.
Al was born in Akron on November 11, 1930 to the late Albert Moser & Marie Yoakam, and was a lifelong area resident. After graduating East High School, Al joined the US Navy, serving during the end of WWII. After the Navy, he went on to marry Helen Gruccio. Albert worked for Acme in various positions for 44 years, retiring in 1996. He loved to golf & fish and was an avid bowler, bowling his last game just this past week. Al was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife Helen. He is survived by his daughter Mary Todd; granddaughter Meredith Reed & her husband SSG Kevin Reed; great-granddaughter Veronica Cole Reed; niece Patricia Gesinski and nephew Joseph Payton; and many other loving family & dear friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 29 from 4-7 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Funeral services will begin 9:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home with prayers, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. in Akron. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Akron Children's Hospital Foundation, ATTN: Foundation, One Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44308-1062.
