Frank Archual, Jr. 92, passed away on January 21, 2021.
Frank was born in Redstone Twp., PA on November 11, 1928 to the late Frank, Sr. & Arietta Archual and had been an Akron area resident for over 65 years. He served his country during WWII in the US Navy, aboard the USS Adirondack. He was a longtime faithful member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Kenmore. Frank worked in a steel mill and later as a coal miner, before retiring as a meat cutter from Kroger in 1984.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife Marcella in 2016; sisters Virginia Brachna & Mary Branca. He is survived by his sons Frank (Kathy), David (Linda), & Gregory (Julie) Archual; grandchildren Eric, Lori (Nick), Kelly (Michael), Daniel (Gabie), Sean (Carmela), Michael, Anthony(Lisa), Christopher (Ivana), & Mark (Lauren); great-grandchildren Haley, Lucas, Caden, Camryn, Gregory, & James; sister Carmella Stern & brother Richard (Vera) Archual, as well as many nieces & nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately by family at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kenmore. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. A memorial service will be held for Frank later in the year.
