Lorraine Ann Lentsch

Lorraine Ann Lentsch (nee Marquardt), 64, passed away on October 30, 2019 after a hard fought 15-year battle with breast cancer.

Lori retired from Drug Mart where she had worked for over 15 years. Whether you were a friend or customer she would always greet you with her infectious smile. When she was out and about no matter where, Lori would often hear “hey aren’t you the lady from Drug Mart”? Her sincere kindness, compassion and smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Family meant everything to her but her devotion to her nieces and nephews throughout the years remained constant and steadfast. Lori was a proud member of the Falls Cancer Club and cared deeply about their mission of assisting those afflicted by cancer.

Preceded in death by her husband James Lentsch, parents, Jack and Verna Marquardt, and sister Jean Ann Szentes. She is survived by her brothers Bill (Barb), Pat (Helen); sisters, Kathy (Bill), Carol (Jack); and brother-in- law Louie Szentes; nieces and nephews (her children) William and Michael Marquardt, Crystal Wilson; April Dirker, Meghan Marquardt; Sarah Serian, Brandon Szentes; William West IV; Travis, John, and Austin Wilson, Jaclyn Fiechter; 16 great nieces and nephews; the entire Lentsch family and longtime devoted friend Marie Christenson.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 9, 12 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail) in Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10 am.
