John Clyde Blair

John Clyde Blair, Jr, 81, passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2019.

John was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late DR. J. Clyde & Martha Blair. He lived a good life. He worked as a Spanish instructor at the South Alabama University in Mobile, Alabama, Assistant director of Bilingual Program in New Orleans, Louisiana, Head of Computer Applications in the Medical Library at Texas A& M before coming to work at NEOMED as a medical librarian in Rootstown. He retired in 1990. He was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church.

John will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Maria H. Blair; his sister Martha Anne Neville and her children : Peggy, John (Linda), Cathy (Rich), Martha Louise & great niece & nephews from N.C ; his Chilean family: brothers-in-law Humberto Henriquez Prado (Haydee), Gabriel Henriquez Prado (Clarisa); sisters-in-law Carmen Henriquez Prado , Cecilia Henriquez Prado, (Mauricio Baez) niece Maria Cecilia Baez Henriquez; nephews Gabriel Baez Henriquez, Juan Pablo Baez Henriquez, Humberto John Henriquez Hidalgo, Julio Henriquez Hidalgo, Marcelo Blanco Henriquez, Claudio Blanco Henriquez; and many wonderful friends & loved ones.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church located at 1821 Munroe Falls Ave. in Munroe Falls, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:30a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:
