Joanne Faye (Bilderback) Payne

Joanne Payne, 85, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2019.
Born in Akron on August 15, 1934 to the late Bernard & Alice Bilderback, Joanne was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Akron South High School. She retired from the Akron Main Post Office. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Akron.
In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 1974, her companion of 39 years, Frank Regallis and brother-in-law Robert Abel II, both in 2019. She is survived by her children Lori (Vincent) Wykoff of Cuyahoga Falls, Nancy (Timothy) Moushey of Columbus, Mark (Bernadette) Payne of Naperville, IL, & Daniel (Susan) Payne of Green; grandchildren Matthew (Kathleen) Wykoff, Rachel (David) Terbilcox, Nicolas (Amanda) Moushey, Jacob (Erin Hagan) Moushey, Daniel, Jacqueline, Laura, Colin, Caitlin, Madeline & Braden Payne, eight great-grandchildren and sister Mary Abel.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel 247 Stow Ave, (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail) in Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James Singler at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls on Saturday, November 30, at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
